Final Thoughts
Given the nature of this debate, this project only represents the tip of the iceberg of the issues implicated with the rise of this technology.
As a result of this, I ask the reader, or rather surfer of this site to review the additional links and the issues and questions further manifested by these links, and I leave you with the following.
The Food and Drug Administration of the Economic leader of the world indicates that the meat and dairy products of clones is just as safe as any other. Since the government of the United States regards its great success on the efficient and technological aspects of capitalism, then why not label the food and allow the market, or rather, the humans who will ingest this food, to make the decisions for themselves? If we are as emotional and ignorant as the FDA claims the American public to be, then let us ignorantly make our own decisions in the food we would like to purchase, if not because of educationally based criteria, then based on moral and religious aspects of that of the soul.
I cannot help but consider the economic tie to government via the Food Industry, or any other large corporation for that matter.
I further agree, any government not following the will of its people, in a decision that clearly is industrially based with the intent of affecting its people; without full knowledge of negative consequences, is simply put a dictatorship. Of which the foundation of our government continues to, arguably fight against actively.
While we have a responsibility to feed families not just in our homeland but across the world, we cannot do so at the expense of opening Pandora’s Box at a genetic level.
